I lived with Matt in the 3rd year of University at Wolverhampton. We had some great times there, playing PlayStation, watching football and enjoying the plentiful nightlife as care free students. One day a magpie got stuck in the chimney breast in Matt’s room. We eventually managed to save it but not before it flew around his bedroom and pooped on his trousers before flying out of the front door while we ran around screaming. We haven’t spoken for a few years Matt but I’ll always remember those great times and the happy, gentle soul that you were. Rest in peace mate, Gerard.
